This past weekend (July 25th) was my grandparents 50th Anniversary and it was a joy to be able to help put together and enjoy the celebration.Robert & Sylvia Dettmer were married 50 years ago surrounded by friends and family. Together they raised 5 children and took in many foster children and showed them what love and family is all about.
From their children they have 17 grandchildren (I hope I counted right) and 2 great-grandchildren. Family gatherings are always an adventure and filled with lots of noise and laughter.
And true to form they had a lesson or 2 to teach us youngin's about kissing :)
Elianah had lots of fun hanging out with family as always and somehow she always finds some sunglasses to put on whereever she goes ;)
