Seven Months!

Another month has flown by and along with it many holiday's and Tim's birthday!

E2 is now 7 months old and her personality is emerging more and more everyday.

She's a little more willing to sit for the camera for me and is for the most part a very chill baby willing to sit back and watch her sister play and chew happily on a book. She is starting to venture out some and explore her world a few inches at a time.

E1 is doing excellent in school and loves being a helper and mother hen to the other kids in her class.

She has been working on her memory verses for church and I am so impressed with the verses that this girl knows already at 3! We have been taking the monthly verse and taping it to her wall and she knows which verse is printed on each card.

Looking back at what has happened over the last year and where we were at the start of 2010 and the start of 2011, so much has changed in our lives. We are so thankful to God for His guidance and provision to our little family over the past year and we are looking forward to seeing what 2011 is going to bring us.

Just as a re-cap for the year (especially since I'm a lazy blogger) here is 2010 in a snapshot

January: Said goodbye to 2009 and started out the year with baby J who was just over a month old

February: I picked up an old hobby of mine, crochet. It's been a fun year learning how to do more and making things for others. And we transitioned E1 into her twin bed in preparation for E2.

March: Traveled up north for a bridal shower for my good friend (and "sister") Jenn

April: Easter and celebrations with extended family and wedding fun for Mr & Mrs S!!

May: Tim preached his last sermon as a vocational pastor and started his new job

June: We welcomed E2 into our family and packed up our home getting ready to move to a new home

July: More packing, moving and lots of unpacking. Tim's parents we also able to visit from Cambodia and it was a joyous time getting to see them and introducing them to E2 (read here to follow their journey as missionary's)

August: Birthday celebration's for my parents as they celebrated a milestone birthday :)

September: We journeyed to Long Island for Labor Day weekend to stay with friends and ventured into NYC and then the Bronx zoo with my sister's family. E1 started pre-school at OSL without looking back. And (yep busy month!) we went with my family (parents, sister, bil, niece) to Great Escape for a day at the amusement park

October: The best month ever! We celebrated my birthday, picked some pumpkins and E1 got to be wonder red and venture out for candy (which is still mostly in a bucket...)

November: E1's 3rd birthday party brought much marriement and lots of pink as that's the "theme" she wanted for her party. J's 1st birthay was ton's of fun too! Then we traveled up to Rome for Jenn's baby shower

December: Christmas celebrations and preparations, the great cookie exchange and a goodbye dinner to Grandma W as she set out for warmer temperatures in FL.
