2 months already!?!?

My baby is already 2 months old, it's hard to believe how fast the time has gone and how much has changed in our lives since her birth. We are in such a good place right now and are developing a new rhythm to life. Tim works Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a little variation here and there but when he comes home he is home and that has been so nice. I am back to work after a wonderful maternity leave and while working with both at home right now is hard I have a long to-do list that keeps me focused and on task. Plus it helps that I truly love my job and want to do it well.

Liza is growing a ton and is a happy baby. She gets a bit fussy at night but once she settles in for the night she's down and only wakes up 1-2 times to nurse quickly and then go back to sleep. She's growing well and developing so much everyday. Right now her favorite thing is for us to help her sit up or stand so she can take in the world around her. And she loves to smile and get those little spit bubbles going that are only cute on a little baby.

Ella is doing well adjusting to being a big sister. She loves her "baby li-a" as she calls baby Liza, can't quite get that "z" out yet. Her talking (or lack of) that had us super worried has really caught up and while we still can't understand her all the time at least she is talking and most of it is decipherable. She starts a 2-day a week pre-school in September and I know that is going to boost that speech a ton. The last few weeks she's been playing a ton with her doll house and while it makes a mess of my living room, with only us at home its a tolerable bit for the amount of time it keeps her occupied.
