My Cutie Pie

I love the fall and can't for the leaves to change colors, but that also means one of my least fav. season is right around the corner... winter. and really the bitter cold that comes with too few daylight hours. But on to much more fun things!

For grandparents day we went to my mom's and Elle got to pay on the slide, one of her favorite things. She loves to push herself down the slide and squeal with delight as she comes down. She hasn't quite mastered climbing up the slide, but that doesn't stop her from trying.

On Thursday Tim had a meeting with other local C&MA pastors while I had a doctors appointment (back on metformin I go) so elle spent her day with her great grandma and had a very good day indeed! Some pics from that morning with her very first pigtails.

On to the other exciting/eventfulness in our lives. We are moving into the parsonage so a whole house just to us. So we are in the midst of the "big list" of painting and fixing up some minor things here and there, like backwards installed door handles. Heres a peek into the house in the pre-painting stage, ie taking out all the nails and filling them with compound to ready the walls for painting. I can't remember if this is before or after sanding.

Row 1:
Our Bedroom (we want to build a closet into that alcove, 99 inches!!! woot!), Then the Yellow tiled bathroom its ready for an update but that will probably wait till next summer hopefully, The Dinning room, The kitchen (I'm painting the cupboards white not too sure about the blue stripe) then the Fireplace room (the panaling is super dark and there is no overhead lighting so I'm not sure what to do in this room... maybe as a dinning room and make the dinning room into a tv room for the time being... not sure on that)

Row 2:
Elles Room, the Office, Living Room (Not too sure about the ceiling but mostly because it reminds me of my bathroom growing up more than anything) and then the stairs to the bonus room above the garage (Set to be a master br, but there is no shower in the bathroom and we'd rather be near the shower and the closets are 1/2 a wall under the roof eaves so not tall enough for my dresses - this will be the last room sanded and everything... maybe this should me the TV room.... eh not sure yet - it will serve as a guest room when Tim's parents come for Thanksgiving so we'll shift furniture after that)

AND.... our brand new picked out by us living room furniture came on Friday!!! woo hoo!!! so excited now to just finish painting and get the carpets cleaned (which are mostly blue and the walls are mostly blue someone liked pale blue too much - I'm more of a neutral hue type of gal for my floors so the blues are ugh but oh well)
